Im April 1989 wurde SCENE X DREAM als direkte Nachfolgeband der über die deutschen Grenzenhinaus bekannten Band WALLOP (Metallic Alps) von Stefan Fleischer und Andreas Lorz gegründet. Mit Andi Sommer fand die Band schnell einen Ausnahmesänger, dessen unverkennbares Stimmvolumen bis heute Bestand hat. Nach mehreren Demoaufnahmen und Teilnahmen an Nachwuchswettbewerben ging die Band 1991 ins Studio um die erste CD aufzunehmen. Der Silberling Scene X Dream erschien 1992 und ist durch seien limitierte Auflage heute ein begehrtes Sammlerstück. Nach kleineren Touren mit Blind Guardian und Grave Digger kam 1993 das Angebot Anvil & Titan Force auf der Power Metal Gods Tour zu supporten, die Band nahm diese Chance gerne an, und tourte im Frühjahr 1993 vier Wochen als Support durch halb Europa. 1994 verlies Andreas Lorz die Band und wurde durch Nico Mola ersetzt mit dem man 1995 das Album Colosseum einspielte, das leider erst 2012 durch die Veröffentlichung auf namhaften Internetportalen den Weg in die Öffentlichkeit fand, da die damalige Plattenfirma MMS Mausoleum nicht mehr solvent war. Im Jahr 1999 beschloss die Band eine Pause einzulegen, die Mitglieder widmeten sich anderen Projekten, so fand Andi Sommer den Weg über die Coverband Lanzer zur Metalband Everfest mit der er 2006 die CD Rising aufnahm, und 2007 in Wacken spielte. Stefan Fleischer produzierte in seinem  WHITE ROOMS STUDIO etliche Tonträger. Nico Mola spielte in diversen bands u.a. LOVE GUN (KISS Cover). 2010 beschloss Scene X Dream wieder gemeinsame Wege zu gehen. Mit Martin Winter war der neue Mann an den Drums dann 2012 gefunden. Anfang 2013 schrieb die Band neue Songs und produzierte die  Maxi-CD "IDENTITY" im eigenen White Rooms Studio, die ausschließlich  als Promo-CD zum geplanten Longplayer dient.Im Winter 2014 begleitete Scene X Dream ihre alten Freunde Anvil auf ihrer Europa-Tournee als Support. Die Tour führte die Band in über fünf Wochen mit 21 Auftritten durch neun Länder.Im Januar 2015 kehrt Frank Rohe, Drummer der ersten Stunde in die Band zurückNach fertigstellung des Albums ``IDENTITY´´im Herbst  2015 kehrt die Band auf die Bühne zurück. Nach einigen Auftritten in den Jahren 2016, 2017 und 2018 feiert die Band um den Ausnahmesänger Andreas Sommer ihr dreißig Jähriges Jubiläum am 06.04.2019 in der Turnhalle Offenbach/Bieber. Nachdem 2019 die Band in eine längere Pause ging sind sie jetzt wieder mit neuem Drummer am Start. Gerald Kellermann verstärkt Scene X Dream nun an den Drums. Für 2025 ist ein neues Album geplant und es werden wieder einige Festivals gespielt.

In April 1989, SCENE X DREAM was founded by Stefan Fleischer and Andreas Lorz as the direct successor to the band WALLOP (Metallic Alps), which was known far beyond Germany's borders. In Andi Sommer, the band quickly found an exceptional singer whose unmistakable vocal range has endured to this day. After several demo recordings and participation in youth competitions, the band went into the studio in 1991 to record their first CD. The silver disc Scene X Dream was released in 1992 and is now a sought-after collector's item due to its limited edition. After smaller tours with Blind Guardian and Grave Digger, the band was offered the opportunity to support Anvil & Titan Force on the Power Metal Gods Tour in 1993. The band gladly accepted this opportunity and toured half of Europe for four weeks in spring 1993 as support. In 1994 Andreas Lorz left the band and was replaced by Nico Mola with whom they recorded the album Colosseum in 1995, which unfortunately only found its way into the public eye in 2012 when it was released on well-known internet portals, as the then record company MMS Mausoleum was no longer solvent. In 1999 the band decided to take a break and the members devoted themselves to other projects. Andi Sommer found his way via the cover band Lanzer to the metal band Everfest with whom he recorded the CD Rising in 2006 and played in Wacken in 2007. Stefan Fleischer produced a number of recordings in his WHITE ROOMS STUDIO. Nico Mola played in various bands, including LOVE GUN (KISS cover). In 2010 Scene X Dream decided to work together again. In 2012 they found the new man on drums, Martin Winter. At the beginning of 2013 the band wrote new songs and produced the maxi CD "IDENTITY" in their own White Rooms Studio, which serves solely as a promo CD for the planned long player.In winter 2014 Scene X Dream accompanied their old friends Anvil on their European tour as support. The tour took the band through nine countries with 21 performances in over five weeks.In January 2015 Frank Rohe, drummer from the very beginning, returned to the band.After completing the album ``IDENTITY´´ in autumn 2015, the band returned to the stage. After a number of performances in 2016, 2017 and 2018, the band around the exceptional singer Andreas Sommer celebrated their 30th anniversary on April 6, 2019 in Offenbach/Bieber. After the band took a long break in 2019, they are now back on the start with a new drummer. Gerald Kellermann is now reinforcing Scene X Dream on drums. A new album is planned for 2025 and some festivals will be played again.
